Built a thing. Thought some of you might find it useful.
WakeFind started as a personal coding project that got out of hand in the best possible way.
I'm an Axis T220 owner and wake sports enthusiast who got tired of hunting across a dozen retailer websites trying to find the best price on gear. So I built something to do it for me — and used it as an opportunity to learn more about software development with MongoDB, TypeScript, AI, and search technologies. Then I kept building. Then it kind of snowballed into something actually useful, so I made it public.
It works. Here's the proof.
Since I started building WakeFind, I've used it myself to:
- Score a 2025 Ronix RXT Board and Bindings for $389
- Pick up a 2025 Phase Five Matrix at 35% off
- Buy new life jackets for the kids at 70% off
- Get a board and bindings for the kids for $179
That's what this site is for.
What WakeFind does
WakeFind tracks prices on wake sports gear across 60+ retailers in the US and Australia — wakeboards, bindings, wakesurf boards, foils, ropes, life vests, tubes and more. It flags price drops, surfaces deals, and lets you compare across stores without the tab chaos. There's a toggle to switch between AU and US retailers depending on where you shop.
Completely independent
WakeFind has no affiliation with any brand or retailer featured on the site. It's not sponsored, not monetised, and generates no revenue for its creator. Product data is sourced from publicly available retailer listings. This exists purely for the benefit of the wake sports community.
A word of warning
This is a personal project, not a polished product. If something looks off, bear with me. Feedback and enhancement ideas are genuinely welcome — though fair warning: I've probably already spent way too much time on it already. Find us on Facebook if you want to get in touch.
