So what makes this Ronix Koal Surface different? The perfect balance of buoyancy, just enough to provide you with the correct feel under your feet but not so much that it is difficult to deep-water start. Next was deflection; they took everything they knew of wakesurfing and there it in the bin, reducing contact with the water and allowing the board to glance off the water when dropping too quickly, getting you back up to the height you need to be. Lastly, swing weight, and this is just a Ronix mainstay; they shed every ounce they could without compromising board strength. The Ronix Fluid 28" mast with Balance Wing gives you room to grow in your fooling endeavors, providing a combo that lets you flow, pump, and carve with complete ease. With the 28" mast, you have a longer profile mast that gives you all the ability to pump and shift about behind the boat without the fear of bottoming out. The mast is then combined with the Balance 1600 front wing. The larger profile, shorter, wider front wing with a greater taper from centre to wing tip gives you all the lift and power to surf back to the 3rd wave with ease and comfort. Bringing this combo together offers a complete foil set that gives you the next steps in foiling to truly explore what is capable in the foil world behind the boat.
